A community-driven initiative in Ghana
Trash for IT (Information Technology) & Sports is an innovative project transforming waste into opportunities for marginalized communities in Ghana. By collecting and recycling trash, we generate funds to support IT training and sports programs for underprivileged youth.
Our initiative tackles waste management, promotes digital literacy, and nurtures athletic talents, all while fostering a cleaner environment. We offer IT training, from basic computer skills to advanced coding, and provide resources for sports development, enabling youth to pursue brighter futures.
Join us in turning trash into tools for empowerment and community transformation!
IT Training for Empowerment
With the funds generated from recycling, Trash for IT & Sports invests in IT training programs for community members, particularly youth. Many marginalized communities in Ghana lack access to quality education and digital literacy, leaving them at a disadvantage in today’s technology-driven world. The IT training covers a range of topics such as basic computer literacy, coding, web development, and digital entrepreneurship, equipping participants with valuable skills to improve their employability and foster innovation. This enables them to participate in the growing digital economy, potentially lifting them out of poverty.
